9 AM – 12 PM: Welcome & immediate immersion in the field!
1/ Mountain risk management: what to carry in your safety pack, and how to treat the most common injuries
2/ Connecting with the environment
3/ Trail running photo session: your current practices, projects, and goals
Your two coaches will wrap up the morning with a preview of the camp’s next steps and introduce the “toolbox” concept.
3 PM – 6 PM: Physical preparation & core training tools
All sessions respect your individual physiology, following the Défitondo method – a progressive tool to monitor core strength – presented by JP.
Why plyometric training benefits trail runners, by JP.
Demystifying the descent: learn how to fall safely to overcome your fears!
Adapted practices for women athletes, with Fanny!
9:30 AM – 12 PM: Downhill improvement workshop: a series of playful exercises designed to disconnect the mind and unlock new levels of confidence and control on descents.

Since the launch of the Boost Camp, every week participants have reached new milestones with us — get ready to level up!
3 PM – 6 PM: Boost your performance and health with tailored nutrition tools — while still enjoying the foods you love! That’s 30% of your progress right there!

8:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Long run in two pace groups, with a focus on energy management! Hydration and nutrition strategies.
4 PM – 7 PM: TOPO – Learn to analyse and understand your heart rate and GPS data to progress.
Innovative gear and mental preparation with the TOPS method, presented by Julien Bouix.
9 AM – 11 AM: Dive into a real athletics training session led by Julien and JP, getting ready for the weekend races.
1 PM – 3 PM: TOPO – Learn how to design your own training plans.

9 AM – 12 PM: Welcome session followed by an acclimatisation outing with your three coaches, during which your goals for the camp will be discussed. Your coaches are committed to providing tailored, in-depth guidance.
3 PM – 6 PM: Core strength training workshop based on the Défitondo method (a progressive tool to track your core stability level).
Why plyometrics matter, with JP.
Julien Bouix’s movement scan: assess your motor preferences and identify areas of vulnerability.
And finally, learn how to fall — a key step to overcoming fear on descents!
9 AM – 12 PM: Pole Technique Workshop — a fun and comprehensive session with JP Camm.
5 PM – 7 PM: Understanding Your Trail Running Abilities — indirect VO2 max evaluation in the great outdoors.
9:30 AM – 12 PM: Downhill Technique Workshop — playful exercises to disconnect the mind, paired with physical and mental activation to approach descents with more confidence, led by Julien Bouix.
Every week, participants push past limits and make real progress with us!
3 PM – 6 PM: Workshops: Trail & Nutrition! Nutrition accounts for 30% of your progress.
Learn how to stay focused during races with postural relaxation, calming breathing exercises, positive thinking, and anchoring techniques — guided by Julien Bouix.

PRACTICAL INFO
• All departures are planned in front of the Tourist Office, Place Caron
• Bring breathable/warm clothing (waterproof top, tights and windbreaker)
• Running backpack with a 1.5L water bag + snacks
• Weather is changing at this time of year: bring running shoes with marked studs
.• Courses will take place with a minimum of 10 participants at D-7
Dates: 2 Boost Camp sessions – one preparation session from August 4 to 8 and one recovery session from August 11 to 15.
Duration: The VT Boost Camps last 1 week for the preparation stage and 5 days for the recovery stage.

PRE-REQUISITES
Valid license
or medical certificate
and participation in a trail of minimum 2 hours
The VT Boost Camps are designed for runners of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes, looking to improve their performance and push their limits.
